Identity Management
Identity management is a fundamental network service that allows you to maintain and secure different resources on your network including users, printers, file shares and much more. Primarily, we recommend three different identity management solutions:
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Novell eDirectory
- OpenLDAP
The right solution for you mainly depends upon the operating systems predominately used on your network. With all three solutions, our design will conform to best practices and take into account all aspects of your IT architecture.
In larger, more complex environments, we can design and implement advanced solutions such as Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager or Novell Identity Manager. This type of products allows you to control identity management over two or more dispersed systems such as Active Directory or eDirectory. Novell Identity Manager can be designed to provision automatically a new user account in your network identity management service, such as Active Directory, when it detects that a new user has been added to Sage Payroll!
